CONTACT LENSES

BOOK A CONTACT LENS FITTING

Contact lenses provide many people with a convenient and comfortable alternative to wearing their spectacles. Whether you have worn contact lenses before or are thinking of trying them for the first time, Martin Steels Emsworth has a team of experienced optometrists who care for your eyes and know how to fit the most appropriate contact lenses.

Caring for your lenses is important for your comfort and ongoing eye health. We share our knowledge on how to care for your lenses and have extensive knowledge in preventing, diagnosing as well as managing problems that may arise from wearing them.

Whether you have short-sightedness, long-sightedness, astigmatism or presbyopia; we can help by providing an accurate diagnosis and fitting contact lenses that will provide you with clarity, comfort and all-day vision.

We are also a specialist centre for medical contact lenses, receiving referrals from our local eye hospitals. This means we fit contact lenses for medical reasons such as severe dry eye, keratoconus, corneal ulcers, following corneal transplant and certain types of corneal degeneration.

We also have programmes for Myopia Management contact lenses specifically designed for short-sighted children. To read more, see our Myopia Management page.

ORTHOKERATOLOGY & MYOPIA MANAGEMENT

Imagine waking up with clear vision — without needing glasses or contact lenses during the day.

Orthokeratology (Ortho-K) uses specially designed lenses that are worn overnight while you sleep. These lenses gently reshape the front surface of the eye so that when you remove them in the morning, you can enjoy clear vision throughout the day without glasses or daytime contact lenses.

It’s a safe, non-surgical and reversible solution that is particularly popular for children and teenagers with myopia (short-sightedness).

We are proud to offer EyeDream® Orthokeratology lenses from No7 Contact Lenses, a trusted system designed not only to correct vision but also to help slow the progression of myopia
